VoC provides support & protection for the Street Children & Vulnerable Families

  • ECPAT

    Luxemburg

    ECPAT Luxembourg is a global network of organisations and individuals working together to eliminate child prostitution, child pornography and the trafficking of children for sexual purposes. It seeks to encourage the world community to ensure that children everywhere enjoy their fundamental rights free and secure from all forms of commercial sexual exploitation. The ECPAT acronym stands for ' End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes'. ECPAT Luxembourg has been supporting VOC since 2008. The funds provided are used in one of the projects called PACSA. The provided funds are used for resource center, developing training manuals, organizing workshops, and providing psychosocial therapy for children who require it.

  • Enfants & Developpement

    France

    E&D is a humanitarian organisation founded in 1984 to help Cambodian children victim of genocide and war. Since then, E&D has worked in urban and rural areas, in the fields of health, early-childhood, education, economy and social work to improve the living conditions of the most impoverished children and their families. The organisation always seeks to work with local organisations and local authorities, supporting them to improve their competences and autonomy with a view of implementing Projects having as beneficiaries poor people from the local population. E&D is supporting Voice of Children in its Street Children Project since 2001 and set the partnership from 2004.

  • PARTAGE

    France

    PARTAGE is a French Humatarian Association independent of any political and religious affiliation created in 1973 to support child victims of war in Vietnam. Since then, the association has developed and supports other projects with the most disadvantaged children. PARTAGE has been supporting VOC since 2005.

  • World Childhood Foundation

    Sweden

    World Childhood Foundation (WCF) was founded in 1999 by Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden. WCF works to prevent exploitation of children. It has been supporting over 100 projects around the world, assisting the children who are at risk of or are victims of abuse, children who are in alternative care, street children and families at risk. It supports project not only financially but also through strategic capacity building and networking opportunities. VOC has become partner of WCF since 2013 to work for street children in Kathmandu.

  • ChildHope

    United Kingdom

    ChildHope was established as an independent UK charity in 1989. With support from UNICEF, Save the Children (Sweden) and others, ChildHope grew out of the recognition of the huge and growing but neglected problem of children living and working on the streets of Africa, Asia and South America. Over the last twenty years, it has been working with local organisations to develop long lasting solutions aimed at tackling the root causes of the poverty and the injustice faced by children around the world. ChildHope has been supporting in VOC programs since 1st May 2015.

  • Butterflies

    India

    Butterflies is a registered voluntary organisation working with vulnerable groups of children since 1989. With a rights based, non-institutional approach the organisation endeavours to educate and impart life skills to vulnerable children so that they become self reliant. Over the years Butterflies has initiated a number of innovative interventions in the field and partnered with various government and non-government agencies to garner support for children. Butterflies, India is supporting VOC for the immediate relief for earthquake affected living in vulnerable condition.

  • Baal Dan Charities

    Texas, USA

    Baal Dan Charities was formed to support the basic needs and social welfare of impoverished children (mostly orphans and street children) in Asia, Africa, North America and South America, and to promote their welfare. Since 2006, Baal Dan has provided aid to over 3,000 children through grants made to a coalition of grassroots partners such as orphanages and NGO's that are focused on orphans, street children and impoverished children (including refugees). Baal Dan has provided fund to VOC for the education of earthquake affected vulnerable/displaced children in a child friendly environment by supporting on their educational supplies.

  • Leger Foundation

    Canada

    The mission of the LEGER FOUNDATION is to support innovative community-based initiatives in Quebec and elsewhere to improve the well-being of vulnerable and marginalized persons, at home and abroad. On July 9, 1981, the Canadian Senate approved a bill incorporating the Jules and Paul-Emile Leger Foundation. The approved bill received Parliamentary assent on December 18 that same year. The creation of this foundation is in keeping with the two brothers' wish to help the poorest people of the world. The Foundation bases its action on solidarity and humanist values and is non denominational. Leger Foundation is supporting VOC from 1st January 2015 to strengthen Break the Silence (BTS) network established for the protection of children in Nepal through training on the issue of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA), school orientation program and development of CSA materials.

  • CCWB

    Lalitpur

    Central Child Welfare Board (CCWB) is a statutory body created by the Children's Act 2048 BS (1992). It is charged with the overall responsibility to ensure realization of the rights of the children of Nepal by the state collaborating with civil society as well as national and international development organizations. It works towards protection of the children's rights as per the Child Rights Convention (CRC) standard. CCWB has overall responsibility to look after children's issues. It also has District Child Welfare Board (DCWB) each in all 75 districts. CCWB is supporting VOC in rescue of street children and their rehabilitation project since April 2016.
